Governance

AUUF is self-governed by a democratically-elected Board of Directors. This is in keeping with the 5th Principle of Unitarian Universalism:

That we affirm and promote the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large.

As a self-governing body, the Fellowship operates under its own By-Laws:

AUUF Bylaws

Board meetings are held monthly to keep fellowship operations running smoothly. We also have an annual Congregational meeting to elect new officers, approve the budget, and vote on any other matters of importance. Special meetings are held to address urgent issues when necessary.

We are delighted to announce that we have elected the following individuals to serve as officers of the Amarillo Unitarian Universalist Fellowship from January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023. The election was held during the 2020 Annual Congregational Meeting.
